What is the attachment limit for most email providers?
Gmail and Outlook both limit attachments to 25 MB. Yahoo Mail allows up to 25 MB. Many corporate mail servers enforce stricter limits of 10 MB or even 5 MB.
Which compression mode should I use for emailing?
Balanced mode works well for most documents - it reduces size significantly while keeping text crisp and images readable. Use Compact only if Balanced still leaves the file too large.
Will the compressed PDF look different to the recipient?
Text quality is not affected. Images may be slightly softer in Balanced or Compact mode, but the document remains fully readable and professional-looking.
